Vela Chairman's Charity

Vela, is a major new North East housing group was formed in 2010 as a result of a partnering between social landlords Tristar Homes and Housing Hartlepool, which together has over 17,000 homes and 700 employees. This year the Chairman has named Daisy Chain as the Charity of the Year.

What Daisy Chain Does

Daisy Chain is a unique charity that addresses the needs of children on the autism spectrum and their families. The charity, which was established in 2003, provides a range of services, including support and activity groups for the whole family from the 5.5 acre farm in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees.
